About the Artist

In the recent years Chinese artists started to have a better understanding of western art resulting in the development of new artistic movements. In her artworks, Zhang Lin uses oil paintings and threads creating a multidimensional space on canvas. This unique technic produces a sense of illusion as well as providing a certain tension in the emotions expressed in Zhang Lin's paintings.
